1.What types of projects/services does your studio cater to?

​

  • Album Recording: Full-length albums or singles for musicians and bands across different genres.

  • Rehearsals: Orchestra Rehearsals, Big-Band reading sessions,  Album release parties, special events. 

  • Demo Recording: Creating professional demos for aspiring artists or bands.

  • Mixing and Mastering: Polishing and finalizing tracks to achieve a high-quality sound.

  • Voice Recording: Recording vocals for songs, voice-overs, audiobooks, etc.

  • Soundtracks and Scores: Creating music for films, commercials, video games, and other media.

  • Film and TV: Post-production work including sound design, Foley, ADR (automated dialogue replacement), and audio mixing for films, TV shows, and documentaries.

  • Podcasts: Recording, editing, and producing podcasts.

  • Voice-Overs: Recording and editing voice-overs for various purposes like commercials, animations, and narration.

  • Live Music Recording: Capturing live performances for albums, videos, or broadcasts.

  • Concerts and Events: Providing recording services for concerts, conferences, and other live events.

2. How do I book a session?

​

  • You can book a sessions through our "Book Online" page, or via phone at 484-224-6536. If you happen to reach the voicemail, please leave a message. We cannot guarantee a callback if no message is left.  All recording  sessions require a $50 deposit to secure your time slot.  (Rehearsals excluded)

3. What are your studio rates?

​

  • Recording starts at $65/hour. We recommend all clients setup a free consultation + tour to discuss your goals, parameters and deadlines for your project. We have rehearsal options starting from $100. All rehearsals include a PA rental package with 3 SM58 vocal microphones and a 16 channel mixer.

4. What are your studio booking policies?

​

  • There is a $50 deposit required for all recording sessions to secure your time slot. The schedule will book on a first come, first serve basis. If you cancel your session with more than 48 hours notice, you will be refunded your deposit. All refunds take 7-10 business days. If you cancel your session without 48 hours notice you forfeit your deposit to your session(s) engineer.

5. What is your turnaround time?

​

  • Turnaround times vary extremely by project. We've had records in production for 2 days, and some up to a a year. Our best advice is to come prepared and practice the material before you are ready to record them. Mixes/Masters standardly take 2 days per song, sometimes 3-5 days.

6. What are the studios mixing and mastering policies?

​

  •  All recordings include 1 free mix edit and 1 master. Any others are $150 mix and $75 master. Turnaround time may vary by project. Discuss with your engineer any deadlines to assure proper scheduling for your project.

7. Can I bring my own engineer?

​

  • Sure can! Reach out and setup a free tour + consultation to ensure your engineer is properly prepared for their session here at Madhouse. We would be glad to give a tour of the space and its capabilities. 

 

8. Do you provide assistance with pre-production or songwriting?

  • We do not provide assistance with pre-production or songwriting.

9. Is there parking nearby?

​

  • We have plenty of parking in our secure lot. 

​

10. How many hours should I book?

​

  • The studio has a 2 hour minimum booking policy. We highly recommend a free consultation with an engineer to discuss your goals and deadlines. This gives you and the engineer an idea of how much time to book for your session here at Madhouse.
