Madhouse Records was founded in 2021 by John Boyle, an Audio Engineer from Delaware County, PA. Today it’s one of the Greater Philadelphia area’s go-to spaces for creatives and musicians. From recording sessions and rehearsals to album release events, we’ve got you covered. With top-of-the-line instruments, microphones, and preamps, our focus is on delivering high-quality audio in a comfortable, professional environment.

Madhouse Records also operates on a membership model built for working artists/bands. Our most popular membership, the "Gold Membership" includes 3 sessions for just $299!

(2 Rehearsal,  1 Recording) *All sessions are 4hrs  each - Can be extended at anytime* It’s a no-brainer for touring acts and local bands alike: a clean and professional space, industry standard gear, and a chance to fast track your bands productivity.  Additional rehearsals or recording sessions can be added at anytime to your membership to fit your bands needs. All memberships gain full access to our instrument library—featuring a Steinway Model A Grand, Hammond B3, Wurlitzer 214, Fender Rhodes, Hohner D6 Clav, and an extensive collection of vintage and modern guitars, amps, and microphones. Not to mention a fully stocked Green Room with pool, ping pong, snacks/water, coffee/tea, full sized fridge, microwave and a vintage vinyl collection with over 250 records.

Our top level membership, the "Diamond Membership" includes a Private Room/Studio/Workshop w/ 24/7 Access - Great for creatives and professionals to have access to their own private space.
